A Stylish Winter Wedding

Peter and Katya's wedding is an ode to what skilled styling can do to transform your day into something truly memorable. Hopelessly elegant and full of charm, this winter wedding is a heart warmer.

The Wedding Styling … We spent a lot of time choosing the right florist and the suppliers who could created beautiful and personal décor for us. Strong floral motifs were sprinkled throughout the wedding day, adding a sense of botanical romance to the overall look. The deep burgundy and greens of the floral arrangements went so well with the winter feel of the wedding, I even wore a floral piece in my hair as well.

The Bridal Party …. We wanted the bridal party to feel relaxed and comfortable, so they had options. The groomsmen choose their own suits and the bridesmaids could choose from a selection of multiple colours and styles. I was looking for a light and comfortable dress that was romantic in style. Thankfully I found it during my first try on session.

The Wedding Vibe …. Everything was very relaxed. This was the kind of mood we wanted for our wedding, no fuss, just lots of love, good food and our favourite people. The ceremony included 100 guests in attendance. This was followed up with a delicious cocktail hour in the main house before moving down to the Pavilion for the meal, speeches and music.

Highlight of the day …. We wanted to incorporate some Jewish and Russian traditions, as a nod to their family heritage. Some of the highlights included breaking of the glass after the ceremony, dancing the “Horah” and being lifted up on the chairs.
