A Modern Restaurant Wedding

Romantic and understated, Maura and Paddy’s wedding is like a fresh breath of air. A city setting real wedding with minimalism and beautiful blooms taking centre stage.

The Wedding Vibe I always envisaged my wedding day being full of beautiful flowers and thankfully Janet from the flower room made this come true. Walking into the church and seeing it filled with the most incredible flowers was really a wow moment. I loved the idea of wearing a flower crown. Every girl should get to wear a flower crown. I never wanted to take it off, it was just so beautiful.

Personal Touches We work away from home a lot, so we both loved the idea of a Belfast city wedding. We kept a Belfast vibe running through the whole day. We ordered some great postcards from Flaxfox, a local artist, of various Belfast landmarks and used these for table names.

The Venue Deanes at Queens was the only place we looked at and we absolutely loved it. We were able to have the most relaxed day as the staff looked after every little detail. The food was incredible, the service impeccable and the mojitos seemed never ending. The next day they organised brunch in the Chelsea Wine Bar to catch up with our guests again. This was such a brilliant way to relive all the fun of the Wedding.

Highlight of the day I’ll always remember that feeling I had when walking up the aisle with my dad, the church was so beautiful, and of course seeing Paddy. It was so lovely to see everyone that we love so happy for us both.
