An Intimate Wedding in Carlingford

Ronan and Nicole decided to ditch the idea of of a big wedding in favour of intimate day spent surrounded by their dearest and dearest. Captured by Sarah Fyffe, this wedding is a lovely display of quiet joy.

The Venue… Ronan and I know Carlingford really well so already loved Ghan House. When we decided to have a very small wedding we knew it would be the perfect venue.

The Wedding Vibe….Our wedding vibe was small and intimate. The thought of saying personal vows in front of a big group just didn’t sit right with us. So we decided to ditch the idea of a bigger wedding. This is one of the best decisions I think we have made. Being true to ourselves and having a smaller wedding, allowed us to feel relaxed and enjoy the day more.

Highlight of the day…The absolute best part of our day was being surrounded by our family and incredible friends. The sense of joy and good fun was an overwhelming experience for the both of us. The whole day itself was perfect but I have to say the party that evening with our closet friends and family was pretty memorable!

Advice for future brides and grooms… We loved the no fuss approach, it worked out perfectly for us. You’d be surprised how a ‘less is more’ attitude can lift the weight off your shoulders. Also, have fun!
