Romantic Wedding At Orange Tree House

Fresh with tasteful decor, minimal styling and gorgeous flowers, Melissa and Paul’s wedding was an intimate affair surrounded by their closest friends and family members.

The Venue…I read about Orange Tree House before I even got engaged and I knew instantly I would want to get married there. I loved the setting overlooking the sea and the romantic cosy vibe the interior provided. We wanted a cosy small wedding with only our closest friends and family present, and we wanted everyone to have a fun relaxing day with good drink, food and banter - Orange tree offered all that. We didn't look at any other venues, as soon as we viewed it we knew it was the one.

The Dress…I knew I wanted a dress with a difference, something that was elegant with a romantic feel! And the floral crown was a must I opted for soft natural make up and flowing romantic waves to finish the look with sparkly princess rose gold shoes from Ted Baker to add a touch of glam.

Highlight moment or detail from the day…The Wedding Co-Ordinator set aside half an hour for us when everyone was being seated for dinner, putting us in a room alone with a drink where we could have a breather to take a moment to acknowledge that we are now married. It was nice to have some time to take in and appreciate the day - it defiantly goes by a flash.

Advice…Hire a Videographer. This was initially one thing we weren't going to do but changed our minds and so glad we have the video to look back on. I watch our video all the time.
