Skin Deep: 3 Bridal Makeup Looks

Finding the right makeup to match your skin tone isn't always easy. That's why we're excited to share make up artist Tippy Logronio's top tips. Tippy boasts an impressive resume having worked across many different platforms including film, fashion, editorial and of course weddings. After receiving numerous emails from concerned brides about make up vs skin tones, Tippy has highlighted below the best way to use of make up for a variety of skin tones.

Asian Red

Red lips are always a favourite with Asian brides, who most of the time will be wearing a "kua" for the tea ceremony in the morning. Love this combination of neutral matte smokey eyes with extended cat flicks on Kira. I added defined cat flicks to elongate her eyes. I also highlighted her upper cheek bones, bridge of her nose, centre of her forehead and chin to create a glow and radiant finish as the foundation I used was matte.

Bohemian Shimmer

Terezita's darker tones perfectly suits metallic browns and bronzes. I dusted shimmer powder on her upper cheekbones, forehead down to the bridge of her nose and cupid's bow to highlight her features and give her a radiant and glowing finish. I smudged the liner on her upper waterline to create soft smokey eyes. A nude shade of lipstick went perfectly for this look as the focus was more on the eyes.

Organic tones

A beauty like Anna only needs to be "enhanced" on her wedding day. To keep it as natural as possible I made sure to prep her skin well so I have a good base for applying sheer coverage. Her eyes were kept minimalist using beige and light browns. I finished off by mixing dusky pink with coral to get the shade closest to her own lip colour.
