4 Bridal Beauty Looks

One of the joy’s of your wedding morning is getting to sit back, relax in a chair, and let the beauty experts work their magic. We headed down to Lynette Murray’s hair studio, where together with make up artist Jennifer Ireland, the pair set out to blow our minds with four exquisite bridal looks. This studio visit shoot is a recreation of the wedding morning process, including beautiful beauty designs, gorgeous hair accessories, and lush silk pyjamas from silk and grey to make the bride-to-be feel like a queen.

LOOK 1 : The ‘Undone’

‘This make-up was all about going natural; glowing skin, groomed brows, understated eyes and a wash of nude on the lips. My main focus here was skin. I prepped with a really hydrating moisturiser, then buffed on a light-reflective lotion before applying tinted moisturiser. ' Jennifer Ireland, Makeup Artist

‘I love creating an up-do that looks like it could fall down at any moment, but actually it stands the test of time and the fast pace of a bride on her wedding day. I finished this look with a beautiful hair crown from Gingerbird Designs called the Giselle. ‘ Lynette Murray, Hairstylist

Look 2 The Romantic

‘I used soft plum toned browns on the eyes, applied with big fluffy brushes to keep the colour diffused, a wash of rose blush on the cheeks and pinky tones on the lips. It’s a really pretty way to wear a bit of colour.’ Jennifer Ireland, Makeup artist.

‘For this I wanted to create a lovely half up, half down bridal hairstyle with a soft simplistic twist feature at the back. I really do love the little details at the back of a brides hair. A veil from Blue Meadow finished the look.’ Lynette Murray, Hairstylist

Look 3. The Goddess

‘Golden brown eyeshadow is a softer way to achieve a smokey eye, and using a dark shadow instead of pencil liner ensures the finish isn’t too heavy. I kept blusher to a minimum, and sculpted her features with a light diffusing bronzer to give a healthy glow.’ Jennifer Ireland, Makeup artist

‘This look is for the bride who wants to keep her hair down but with bounce. If you have a good foundation your hair will stay all day with the right prep. Bouncy hair that moves with you through out your day is gorgeous. I styled the hair with a Gingerbird Design. It was a Rose Gold Vine called Neridavine.’ Lynette Murray, Hairstylist

Look 4 The Daring

‘For the bride that likes a little drama, a soft smokey eye and a bold colour on the lips is a perfect combination. Red’s are always a firm favourite when going for a statement lip. Here I used a brown red to compliment the bride’s features.’ Jennifer Ireland, Makeup artist

‘I wanted to a create that bigger bolder hairstyle but with a 70’s inspired hair sass. This bridal hairstyle is for the bride who dares to be daring and go bold and own her look. I had to pair this look with Blue Meadow Bridal MiMi Crown.' Lynette Murray, Hairstylist
